Returns & Refunds

At Skin Cart UK, we want customers to feel confident when shopping with us.

This policy explains how returns, refunds, cancellations, damaged items, faulty items, and hygiene-sensitive skincare products are handled.

Return Window

You may request a return within 14 days of receiving your order.

To be eligible for a return, the item must be:

  • Unused

  • Unopened

  • Sealed

  • In its original packaging

  • In the same condition as received

  • With all labels, seals, protective packaging, and outer packaging intact

Due to hygiene and safety reasons, skincare, cosmetics, beauty, and personal care products cannot be returned once opened, used, unsealed, damaged, or tampered with, unless the item is faulty or incorrect.

Non-Returnable Items

We cannot accept returns for:

  • Opened skincare products

  • Used cosmetics or personal care products

  • Products with broken seals

  • Products not in original condition

  • Products damaged by misuse

  • Items returned without approval

  • Gift cards, if offered

  • Clearance or final sale items, if clearly marked as non-returnable at the time of purchase

How to Request a Return

  • Your order number

  • Full name

  • Email address used at checkout

  • Product name

  • Reason for return

  • Photos if the item is damaged, faulty, incorrect, or unopened

Do not send items back without contacting us first.

We must approve the return before you post the item back to us.

Return Shipping Cost

If you are returning an unwanted item, the customer is responsible for return postage.

If the item is faulty, damaged, or incorrect, we will review the issue and, where accepted, provide a suitable solution.

This may include a replacement, refund, or return arrangement.

Refunds

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will email you to confirm whether the refund has been approved.

If approved, the refund will be processed to the original payment method used at checkout.

Refunds usually appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or payment provider.

Skin Cart UK cannot control bank processing times after a refund has been issued.

Original Shipping Cost

If you return an unwanted item, original shipping costs are not refundable unless required by law.

If an order is returned because the customer provided an incorrect or incomplete address, delivery charges may not be refunded.

Damaged, Faulty, or Incorrect Items

If your item arrives damaged, faulty, or incorrect, contact us within 48 hours of delivery at:

Please include:

  • Order number

  • Photos of the product

  • Photos of the outer packaging

  • Photos of the shipping label

  • A short explanation of the issue

We will review your case and offer a suitable solution where appropriate.

Missing Items

If an item is missing from your order, contact us within 48 hours of delivery.

Please include your order number and photos of the parcel and packaging.

Order Cancellation

You may request cancellation before your order has been dispatched.

Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled.

After delivery, you may request a return if the item meets our return conditions.

Exchanges

We do not guarantee direct exchanges.

If you want a different product, you may need to return the eligible item and place a new order.

Skin Reactions

Skincare products may react differently depending on skin type, sensitivity, allergies, health condition, and product usage.

Skin reactions are not automatically treated as product faults unless there is clear evidence that the product itself is defective.

Customers should always check ingredients and do a patch test before using a new skincare product.
